What You'll be Doing
Vermeer's Sales Division and Service Workshops are growing increasingly busier. As such, Vermeer's Parts Division is now expanding to meet the high demand resulting from their continued success.
The organisation has exciting opportunities for full-time Parts Interpreters to join their team in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.
This busy role will see you responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing customers, as well as overseeing company inventory. You'll be spending time both in the Parts Office, as well as on the road providing services to a variety of clients.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Proactively selling parts to customers, including cold calling;
- Ensuring all stock within the company's Victorian operation is accounted for;
- Efficiently and correctly reporting of stock in the computer system;
- Facilitating rolling stock takes; and
- Professionally controlling all parts inventory, in conjunction with other Parts colleagues.
About You
Vermeer is looking for enthusiastic individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude, as well as demonstrated experience in a similar role. Due to the nature of the positions, successful candidates will come from a background in sales and customer service, and will be passionate about developing their career further in this area.
In addition, you'll have exceptional communication skills and be confident in your dealings with suppliers and customers, providing the highest quality service at all times.
Competency in the use of computer programs, along with strong literacy, numeracy and accuracy will be essential for your success.
Please Note: A Forklift License and an uncompromised Driver's License are requirements of these roles.
